Bitcoin heaters

2013-11-21 23:30:01 by lateral_thinker

I just helped a friend repair an avalon asic board.
He is running ten and his apt is very warm.
There are other devices running too.
he says $24 a day in mining and also says that you can run a bitcoin machine until you break even on power cost.
My point put a bitcoin machine where you need heat and anything else is gravy minus the amortisation.
I hear board are used and then sold as new .
The new boards should clock at 450mhz but these are only 408 or less some 380.

TEXASINTEGRATEDSERVICES Project Introduction
TEXASINTEGRATEDSERVICES is a bitcoin mining project operated and maintained by Bitcoin Technology Incorporated (short for BTI ) registered in the United States. In this project, BTI doesn’t develop or produce ASIC chips. Instead, BTI purchases ASIC chips massively from the existing ASIC chip providers (Avalon, Bitfury, BFL, KcN, etc.) all over the world and manufacture bitcoin miners in batches with very low cost in Texas. By using the self- manufactured bitcoin miners, BTI deploy bitcoin mining farms in Texas where the electricity rate is extremely low
