Bitcoin Advocate Stefan Molyneux Unbanned on YouTube Thanks Listeners Stefan Molyneux’s channel, Freedomain Radio, reappeared on YouTube today after it went into the ether for a few hours. The channel, powered by the public speaker’s views on cryptocurrency, political philosophy and libertarianism has over 150, 000 subscribers and over 50 million downloads.

Strongly suspected to be a reaction to Stefan Molyneux’s talk titled ‘Bitcoin Vs Political Power’ at Amsterdam on Friday, the pulling down of the channel drew widespread criticism from fans and listeners worldwide. In the talk, Molyneux spoke against fiscal policies, the Federal Reserve and how the ‘printing money out of thin air’ causes governments to fund unsavory projects.

He stressed on the need to limit money by use of cryptocurrencies as a way to limit political power. Blistering attacks against funding the military–industrial complex (Peace is the Enemy of the US Military Industrial Complex) with fiat currencies seems to have touched quite a few raw nerves.

Stefan Molyneux, whose channel had no copyright issues whatsoever went off the air, along with his email, Google Drive and Google Plus account – ‘nothing but digital ash dispersing into the memory hall’, in Molyneux’s words. Listeners stepped up and retweeted about the situation hundreds upon hundreds of times and shot off emails. The massive support, encouragement and activism that occurred around the channel had the intended effect of reviving the channel, said Molyneux as he air blew kisses and heartily thanked his supporters.

Molyneux says if the disappearing act was staged as a reaction to his Amsterdam talk, he now knows exactly on what topics to hit harder in his forthcoming speeches. Recalling Winston Churchill’s words, “If you’ve got enemies, it’s good. Because it means you stood up for something, someone, somewhere”.
