Bitcoin API PHP
Project Description:
A young Dutch start-up company is looking for skilled PHP programmers who can help develop a unique new Bitcoin direct exchange service for the European market.
The purpose of this service is to allow customers in Europe the ability to directly purchase Bitcoin from our company through use of a number of popular e-commerce payment systems, without the need for registration. The service will require at the bare minimum support for the Belgian system Bancontact/Mister Cash, the German system Giropay and the Dutch system iDeal. Optionally, support for the Austrian system “Electronic Payment Standard” could be included as well. This would allow customers to instantaneously buy Bitcoin using familiar payment systems and automatically receive Bitcoin in their wallet. The company will buy Bitcoin on one of the American exchanges on a daily basis.
The project requires at least the following components:
-A display that shows the number of Bitcoin currently available for purchase by the customer.
-A form that allows the customer the ability to specify the number of Bitcoin he or she wishes to purchase, as well as the type of e-commerce payment system through which the customer seeks to make his purchase. This form then automatically calculates and displays a price to the customer, based on the Bitstamp API, and including the transaction costs asked by the payment system and profit margin used by the company.
-A form that asks the user to provide his personal Bitcoin address. Importantly, the form has to check whether the Bitcoin address provided by the customer is a valid Bitcoin address.
-A system that automatically transfers Bitcoin from the wallet used by the company to store purchased Bitcoin to the address specified by the customer. This will have to use the Bitcoin API available in the Bitcoin client.
Those interested in helping to develop this project are kindly requested to provide:
-A price estimate to develop the project as roughly outlined above.
-An estimated time of delivery for this project.
The project is not believed to be very time consuming for a skilled individual or team of programmers, but will require experience in a multitude of areas.
Expected of any applicants is the ability to:
-Integrate European e-commerce payment systems into a website.
-Develop a system that verifies whether payment has occurred, and automatically transfers the customer's information to a third party program (Bitcoin) through use of an Application Programming Interface. The program then automatically transfers the purchased amount of Bitcoin to the wallet number provided by the customer.
