Bitcoin Avalon

In addition to being committed to open source, Avalon believes in advocating the long-term success of Bitcoin and the Bitcoin ecosystem. While there are clear benefits to operating with bitcoin, Avalon opted to accept only bitcoin to support companies introducing BTC to the masses. For example, even though we had developed an in-house solution for accepting payments, we instead opted to use Payius as a payment processor for our first batch of auditing hardware, WalletBit (now BIPS.me) for our second, and BitPay for our third batch. We were able to work closely with Paysius to build and test their Magento solution, worked closely with BIPS.me to develop their woocommerce solution, and helped BitPay stress test their system.

Continuing this tradition, we have decided to partner with Tradehill to auction off 500 Avalon units of our 2 module Avalon Minis, rated to perform at 60Gh/s. The auction is currently ongoing, and will end on the 10th of October. Orders will ship within 48 hours of auction resolution.

Working with Tradehill on this auction allows us to test an exciting new tool for the bitcoin marketplace, and also minimizes risk for all parties involved. If all goes well additional auctions will be held. To learn more simply visit the Tradehill auction site via the link below!
